Scripture: Matthew 6:9-15
Journal: What captures you most today about The Lord’s Prayer? What speaks for your heart? What speaks to your heart? What part is the biggest struggle right
now? Why?
Reflection:
The knowledge of God’s Father-love is the
first and simplest, but also the last and highest lesson in the school of
prayer. It is in the personal relation
to the living God, and the personal conscious fellowship of love with Himself,
that prayer begins. It is in the
knowledge of God’s Fatherliness, revealed by the Holy Spirit, that the power of
prayer will be found to root and grow. (With Christ in the School of Prayer by
Andrew Murray)
Prayer
Closing
Prayer: Our Father in heaven, reveal who you are. Set
the world right; do what’s best as above, so below. Keep us alive with three
square meals. Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others. Keep us safe from
ourselves and the Devil. You’re in charge! You can do anything you want! You’re
ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes. (The Message)
